30 Days of Pinterest

Usually, the day after school is out, I begin working on my summer project list.

This year is different because I am not on summer vacation.

I am on vacation for life, so to speak.

So, now is the time to do all those things I said I would do when I had the time.

After reading the post A Simple Pinterest Project by Judy at 20 North Ora.

I went to my Pinterest boards and chose 30 projects.

There are things to make, things to buy, bits and pieces to gather and vignettes to mimic.

The goal - complete the 30 projects in 30 days -

June 8 to July 8.

  1. There is SO MUCH FUN to be had here, Carol! I know that even if you don't make it to all 30, the few that you may achieve will be enjoyable; I LOVE ALL OF THESE IDEAS! Anita

  2. Wow oh Wow! This is a real challenge! I love the projects you picked and the items to find! I'm here for the ride, so good luck!!

  3. Wow, you have a big goal ahead of you. Can't wait to see the 30 projects. You certainly are ambitious now that you have retired. Good for you!!

  4. All best luck!!! I'll be eagerly waiting to see what you come up with!

  5. For heaven's sake! For anybody else this might seem manic. But I've already been amazed at what you get done while working full time. CONGRATULATIONS on retirement! With all you got going it's going to take a long time before you feel it. Don't be surprised if you get a book deal out of this! Good luck dearie! I'm pulling for you. (You asked about where I keep the linens... Linen's were a specialty in my old shop, so I have a lot that is just stored, but since I love and use them so much I have drawers and closets full. Most notably one very large walk in closet.)

  6. Sounds like fun, can't wait to see all the things you make, do, and buy!!! Mary

  7. You're gonna be one busy woman!

  8. Those look like fun projects and and good challenge! I bought some galvanized buckets with numbers on them at Big Lots of all places! I hadn't been in there in a long time and was really amazed at what they had. They even had some knock of Coke crates!

  9. Seriously !!
Wow, good luck Carol, I'm sure you can do it, you always achieve so much.
    Happy retirement x

  10. CONGRATULATIONS on your retirement!!!! Knowing you, you'll have those projects done in no time. You're soon going to wonder how you ever had time to teach!

I saw you wonderful post at CLH and your wash tub with your seat cushions in it...was AWESOME! That is one of the things I loved about that post and all your storage ideas!!! ...However... it's your ***FREE TIME**** so you can pick whatever projects you want. :)

can't wait to see them all! Pat

  12. My goodness, you are an ambitious one! I plan to retire in a few years, but I think I will just coast that first month! Can't wait to see all your projects come to fruition!

  13. So many wonderful projects. I love them all! That will be quite a challenge to finish so many in such a short time. Good luck and have fun!

  14. I have so many things pinned myself.... it is overwhelming the things I'd like to make.... I have started on one though... making my own santos cage doll..... its slow going waiting for the clay to dry. I guess I could start another project on the side lol

  16. You go, girl!! :)
You've got some fantastic projects ahead of you-I especially love the crocheted bags and the numbered containers! Can't wait to see your progress.

  17. CAROL! HI THERE! I just noticed that you came to visit, but left your comment on my older post! HOW LOVELY of you to stop by after such a wild night of celebration! 23. Congratulations, Carol!! You will love retirement! I was not nearly as ambitious as you are - I thought that my house would be a lot cleaner when I retired! I can't wait to see the projects as you finish them. I love those sweet hearts - I have the perfect bowl to put some in...I think I will do that project as well.

  24. Congratulations. I know you will love retirement. You will miss your "kids" and co-workers.
I love the idea of the project. I think I need something like that. I've pinned so many great things on my Pinterest boards.
