So Sorry!

I am so sorry that I am not visiting any blogs,

checking any links at this week's Share Your Cup (what a poor hostess I make)

or responding to your sweet comments.

Several days ago I bumped my right hand (x-rays show that it isn't broken) and the pain is excruciating, my index finger knuckle is distorted, the drugs make loopy and I have absolutely no use of my dominant hand.

I hope I can see my hand doctor tomorrow (I'm going nuts not being able to be creative!) and that I'll be back blogging soon!

The pictures (Instagram pics this past week) obviously have nothing to do with the post, but this visual girl has to have pictures.

  17. Oh Carol...I feel you pain!! I hit my hand on the corner of our wood dining room table a few weeks ago and thought I had broke my hand, but the doctor said I just bruised it deeply. It is feeling much better now and the ugly bruise is going away finally. Hope your pain goes away soon.

  22. Dang girl! Make sure that the hand guy knows how important it is to get full function back. Sometimes I think they think "older" people should be satisfied with less.

  25. Please get a second opinion. You might remember I was told I sprained my arm back in June and then found it was fractured in three places. I needed to be in a cast yet I walked around for ten days wondering why I was in pain. I think that contributed to the long recovery and the pain I still have.

I'm sure you are getting lots of advice, Carol, but I am so angry about the long road I traveled to get to almost nowhere.
    Feel better most of all.

  29. Good morning dear CAROL! We are all glad you did not break your hand, but the finger, why is it distorted? You bumped your hand? I've done that before, but it sounds awful! And that you can't be creative, that is double the pain! Please be well, get to see your hand doctor and I hope you will be back on the mend SOON! I missed you on Instagram this weekend!

  46. Oh no! I'm in the same boat! I broke a metacarpal in my left hand last Monday. I think the split is worse then the break. I've had to take it off to carefully finish painting some Valentine hearts. Good luck! I feel your frustration.
