Out(side) With the Old . . . In With the New

On Tuesday, I bought this little chair - read about it here.

I left its sister at Tuesday Morning and went back to buy it.

I decided that I didn't like it as much so I left it sitting there and went home to find just the right place for the little chair.

The chair got a little pushy and told the red ladder that it would have to move.

My little red ladder was relegated  porch.

I potted some primrose and daffodils

and added a heart shaped rock Steve found on the beach.

With the ladder settled in the front yard,

I moved on to the chair.

The little red basket was on top of the ladder, but now sits under the chair.

Flowers stolen from a bench and a little book in red and yellow sit on the chair allowing the patina to be appreciated.

I love the little red ladder and wasn't sure I wanted to put it outside.

But, the purchase of the chair meant some changes were in order.

So the little ladder is "out."

The little green chair is "in".

And, all is right with the world.

  7. I love how the chair fits right in and is looking so cute all decorated. I collect heart shaped rocks, and am surprised how easy they are to find. I got my first one from my son when he was little and thats how the collecting started.

  15. That ladder is perfect with the primroses! So sweet!

I am longing for warmer weather. It is dark and rainy and slushy here. We put up with it because in the summer we get so much day light (perhaps not sun light)!

  16. Much love for the red ladder. It and the chair must take turns - in and out. I love the wire basket!

  17. Looks like a good swap! The red ladder looks at home on the porch, and the "new" chair is perfect next to the sofa. I know you had fun accessorizing them! I am in love with primroses right now -- had to go back to Home Depot for a few more! Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday!
