thoughts on a garden . . .

I'm so glad you're here because

it's time for the Garden Party.

I love to have people drop by for a visit especially when we can spend time in the garden.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am NEVER at a loss for words,

but today, I am relying on the thoughts of others as you visit my garden.

Thanks for dropping by my garden -  now it's time to link up your garden post.

Enjoy visiting all the beautiful gardens at the Garden Party hosted by

Jann of Have a Daily Cup, Jemma of At Home With Jemma, Laura of White Spray Paint, Stacey of Poofing the Pillows and Laura of Decor to Adore.

  4. If you have a garden and a library...truer words could not be spoken. As always you've drawn us in and made us smile with your sweet and charming cottage. I love visiting you. So glad we got to work together for this little bloggy project. ;)

  5. Beautiful, beautiful Carol!

Between your warm, welcoming, thriving and beautiful cottage and garden and these quotes you have made my day!
Each quote speaks to me and I am especially fond of the one by Ruth Stout. "I love spring anywhere, but if I could I would always greet it in the garden."
My daughter gave me this on a burlap sign for Mother's Day one year.
    Thank you:)

  16. Hi Carol :)
I'm not here for the party, but to tell you that I'm jealous as you have a beautiful garden :) I don't know why but your red window especially caught my eyes.

  17. Such a fun party that I have looked forward to. I was out of town since last week and traveling home today so it was hectic to post early. I thought I would have the luxury of viewing the garden party on my ipad in the car and enjoying commenting but for some reason comments would not work on my ipad today.

Anyway, I'm home now and enjoyed your post. Pretty pictures and words. Thanks for hosting.

  44. I love the quotes sprinkled on your pictures. I'm happiest surrounded by dirt, flowers and critters. Spring is dragging its feet in Chicagoland...one nice day and then 5 crappy ones. Still gives us hope that winter will give it up...soon, I hope. Thank you for the lovely breaths of Spring.
