I'm so glad you're here because
it's time for the Garden Party.
I love to have people drop by for a visit especially when we can spend time in the garden.
but today, I am relying on the thoughts of others as you visit my garden.
Thanks for dropping by my garden - now it's time to link up your garden post.
Enjoy visiting all the beautiful gardens at the Garden Party hosted by
Jann of Have a Daily Cup, Jemma of At Home With Jemma, Laura of White Spray Paint, Stacey of Poofing the Pillows and Laura of Decor to Adore.
Carol, I love your little retreat and I do enjoy quotes so very much. You have used many of my favourites. Thank you for the tour and have a beautiful day.

Your garden is beautiful
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures so much :) and the texts!!
ReplyDeleteIf you have a garden and a library...truer words could not be spoken. As always you've drawn us in and made us smile with your sweet and charming cottage. I love visiting you. So glad we got to work together for this little bloggy project. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Beautiful, beautiful Carol!
ReplyDeleteBetween your warm, welcoming, thriving and beautiful cottage and garden and these quotes you have made my day!
Each quote speaks to me and I am especially fond of the one by Ruth Stout. "I love spring anywhere, but if I could I would always greet it in the garden."
My daughter gave me this on a burlap sign for Mother's Day one year.
Thank you:)
Jemma
Carol, I enjoyed seeing all your lovely spots in the garden. Plus the wonderful quotes are so nice to read. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Hi Carol :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not here for the party, but to tell you that I'm jealous as you have a beautiful garden :) I don't know why but your red window especially caught my eyes.
Such a fun party that I have looked forward to. I was out of town since last week and traveling home today so it was hectic to post early. I thought I would have the luxury of viewing the garden party on my ipad in the car and enjoying commenting but for some reason comments would not work on my ipad today.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm home now and enjoyed your post. Pretty pictures and words. Thanks for hosting.
I so enjoyed strolling through your garden, Carol, and I especially loved the quotes that you shared that accompanied the pictures.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the sweet comment you left on ~ My little old world ~, I truly appreciate it so much !
ReplyDeleteYou've such a lovely blog and I cannot help but follow it with joy !
So thankful for hosting me and for sharing the beauty of your garden, as well, I wish all my best for your days to come,
sending you love
Daniela
My dear Carol! I just came from a stroll at Jemma's beautiful Texas garden! How fun it is STILL to be a part of Blogland where we can meet new friends and chat with long-time pals. Inspiration at every corner from poetry to flowers. LOVE THAT BLUE WINDOW!
ReplyDeleteCarol I have expressed this many times and it bears repeating - visiting a post of yours is coming to a happy place where you feel welcome at. Your gardens always are bright, colorful and full of life. Thanks for hosting and putting me in a gardening state of mind.

I also love your garden quotes - I just wrote about our Greek garden and went in search of similar quotes and was unable to find those to address what I wanted to convey - you, however, did it for me! Great post!
ReplyDeleteCarol, I love your cottage and garden. I always enjoy my visits with you! I loved the quotes...such a nice touch! Pam @ Everyday Living

ReplyDeleteCarol I adore how you have married some of my favorite quotes with your glorious garden images. Thank you so very much for linking up to the garden party. Your post was completely enchanting.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are gorgeous! Your garden looks like it is a spread out of a magazine. The quotes are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful...I love every picture.
ReplyDelete"to plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow"..A. Hepburn
my favorite garden quote...:)
I loved reading your selection of quotes and enjoyed the accompanying photos. My favorite is "If you have a garden and a book, you have all you need!" So true! Peace on earth!

Pretty scenes and good quotes. You should print these into notecards or birthday cards!
ReplyDeleteHello, Art and Sand! Oh, how could anyone NOT be in the mood after seeing such lovely photos and reading the terrific quotes you pulled! Perfect indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by The Marmelade Gypsy during the garden party! I loved your comment and so nice to "meet" you!
What a beautiful garden!! I love this idea, and the quotes you found are so beautiful. I help my mom in the garden every year, but it definitely does look THAT nice! I love your blog, by the way. You have a new follower :)
ReplyDeleteYour garden is so pretty, Carol! I just love the Jane Austen quote. Great party idea! Happy I had something to link up!
ReplyDeleteAll of your spaces are so very beautiful. I love the pictures with all the lovely garden quotes. That was so very enjoyable!
ReplyDeleteI love the quotes sprinkled on your pictures. I'm happiest surrounded by dirt, flowers and critters. Spring is dragging its feet in Chicagoland...one nice day and then 5 crappy ones. Still gives us hope that winter will give it up...soon, I hope. Thank you for the lovely breaths of Spring.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pleasure it is to visit your garden and read those wonderful quotes in such a lovely setting. Sarah x
ReplyDeleteLove this post and all the quotes. So much of our yard has been under water I haven't been out to photograph it this year with all the rain. Eventually I'll hit on a Garden Wednesday. LOL
ReplyDeleteLots lots of cool link ups though to look at and maybe even follow. ;o)
Carol
ReplyDeleteyour garden is truly beautiful and the added poems are perfection. I am sorry I missed this post. Haven't been around blogland for months.
