I am having difficulty with my right hand - after 4 months of pain and 2 months of physical therapy, the x-rays show that I have injuries to the wrist- whatever that means.
Typing is getting more and more difficult (I don't see the hand specialist for 3 more weeks) so for today, few words accompany the pictures of fun sightings around town.

Love the photos and the garden shed is adorable!!! So sorry about your hand. I had a wrist injury once that rears it's ugly head once in awhile and I literally can't do anything with that hand. Wishing you healing and don't worry about comments.

Linda
I'm so sorry about your hand/wrist causing you so much pain and hope you have some answers and healing really soon. These photos are stunning. It looks so nice hot and sunny there and just so much colour and fun things. That plane!!?? The houses on the beach, music on the beach, your sunny living room and cute shed - all beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I'm tired of the snow and cold here so this was a pick me up. I'm going to look at the pics again. Take care. Hugs. Pam
ReplyDeleteOh ~ poor honey!! I'm so sorry about your wrist! Please practice extreme self care!!
ReplyDeleteHugs ~~~
So sorry to hear about your hand. I hope they can find out what is wrong and sort it out. Your pictures are worth a thousand words - so wonderful. Take care and don't worry at all about commenting. Sarah x
ReplyDeleteGlorious photos! I'm sorry about your hand, and hope it heals on its own. My knee has bothered me occasionally since my years of dance, but this past week it hurt so badly after hours at the antique mall, I could barely limp out to my car (a first). I don't like this at all, and I hope it goes away. Take care, Carol.
ReplyDeleteWith a picture being worth a thousand words, you didn't have to say much, they could speak for themselves. Your garden shed is just adorable. IT looks fresh and new and so colorful inside and out. I'm sorry about your hand/wrist. That sounds so painful. Well at least you can take your wonderful walks I hope.
ReplyDeleteTalk about ENVY!!! These photos are breathtaking...and to think that this is your everyday views!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping you find out what's going on with your wrists because there's no way you can stop creating, Carol.

I am so sorry to hear you are having hand and wrist pain. Could be nerves or tendons...guess you'll find out. I get pain in my wrist, hand and fingers every so often...I had it about six months ago for a few weeks and then it finally just went away. That happened to me about two years ago, too. Very weird. Like you, I could barely type. Forget texting or writing with a pen - even worse. Anyway, your photos are just gorgeous. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI hope you figure out what's wrong with your hand soon and how to make it feel better. Meanwhile, your shutter finger is working great! :)
ReplyDeleteHope your hand gets better soon, Carol.
ReplyDeleteOf all the houses, I love yours best!
Hope you are feeling better soon and thanks for the pictures of the sunshine! :)
ReplyDeleteOlá Carol, essa casa jardim é um lugar para leitura? Beijo.Valéria.(Brasil).
ReplyDeleteNice to wonder around you world, take a rest your hand is tired.
ReplyDeleteMerle..............
What beautiful pics! Feel better Carol!
ReplyDeleteI love your little garden house! You should see my hands, right thumb and wrists. Surgical scars all over them from surgeries. They had to take a tendon out of my right arm to wrap around my right thumb because the cartilige was gone. Sucks when there's cold weather, because the arthritis really makes it hard to do much of anything. Wish I could take photos there on the beach. I'd be in heaven.

ReplyDeleteLove your shed - especially the brightly coloured shelves. So pretty! and I love your photos too. I'd go for those big houses only if I had a housekeeper, gardener and cook working for me. Too much work!!! lol

Carol, I loved all your pictures. Wish I was walking on the beach with you. I am sick of our snow. Sending a "mommy" kiss for your hand. I hope you get some relief soon. Blessings to you and Steve, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that your hand hurts. I hope that you get some answers soon. Is it your wrist or the whole hand.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures don't need words. They are so beautiful. That plane was way too close. I don't blame LuLu those big doggies are invading her space.
So sorry to hear that you've injured your hand - repetitive strain?
ReplyDeleteYour photos stand very well with few words - gorgeous as always.
I hope the hand specialist figures out what's wrong with your wrist, Carol. Until then, take it easy and rest your hand. Typing is hard on hands! Your photos show us how magical your little corner of the world is. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! So sorry to hear you are having problems with your wrist. I hope when you go to the doctors you find out what's wrong and get a fix soon! Have you thought of putting a pencil in your mouth and click the keys with the eraser? LOL, just kidding. Everyday I look at my garden banner in the kitchen looking for a sea, haven't see it yet?

ReplyDeleteCarol, so sorry to hear about your hand; please take care. In the meantime, these pretty pics do all the 'speaking' for you!

Oh Carol, what a GORGEOUS tour of your world. That violinist on the beach.....now THAT'S romance. The piano man too, the HORSES on the beach (according to Miz Lulu, the BIG DOGS!) and the rest is a story told by the eyes. My friend, I pray your hand heals soon; your creative tools need to be well so you can continue to give us the gorgeous view of your table vignettes, your garden excursions, your heart. Your garden shed is PERFECT! Peace and healing, Anita
ReplyDeleteHi Carol, yes a picture is worth a 1000 words especially your darling Garden House. I hope and pray your hand heals promptly.
ReplyDeleteHave a restful weekend.
Hugs,
CM
So sorry about your hand. Glad you can still take such lovely pictures that make me dream of a beachy life! Your shed is so awesome! It's bigger on the inside than it looks too!
ReplyDeleteCarol,
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about your hand and wrist. Having to wait to see a specialist is frustrating I'm sure. I hope you are immobilizing your wrist with a supportive brace. I have bi lateral carpal tunnel and I sleep with immobilzers and they are a very helpful.
Your photo essay is stunning and thank you for sharing your hand concerns. Ask the doctor lots of questions, take care and get better.
xoxo,
Vera
hope your hand gets fixed soon, carol! love the music on the beach. and your garden house is as charming as your home:)
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that your hand is giving you so much trouble. That must be hard to deal with too since we use our hands for everything! I hope you can get something done for it soon. Loved seeing those pretty pics on the beach.
ReplyDeleteLovely sunny pictures, Carol. I am sorry your hand is causing you pain and hope it eases up soon. Your little garden house is looking very cute!

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry your hand hurts! I hope it feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteThe garden house is darling!! I'm not surprised though ;)
I sure hope you get some satisfactory answers from the specialist, and that you heal up soon. I just loved these photos ... such amazing things you see at the beach!! Horses, planes, musicians ... such fun. I was once visiting my BFF at her family cottage when we were teens. We were at the far end of the lake where there was just wilderness and no cottages. Suddenly a motor boat pulled up along the rocky shore, dropped off a young kid and then quickly sped away. The young boy pulled out a trumpet and started playing! We weren't sure if his parents had had enough of the noise (I recall it was rather rough playing), or if he requested the drop off, but it was all so funny and made us laugh. Wendy
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your hand Carol. I hope it gets better soon. Your photos are always so beautiful, and your garden house is very sweet. Take care!.

Pretty photos...Carol can you wear or are you wearing a brace of any sort such as a carpal tunnel brace? I will occasionally have wrist pain whether from sewing or even sleeping wrong and it stemming from my neck and I wear a brace for a few days and it helps so much
ReplyDeleteI have that one for one hand and a diffferent sort for the other when I get pain in the thumb area ( I suppose from sewing as well ) Got them at the drugstore...

ReplyDeleteI am so glad I've come across your blog.
ReplyDeleteI love your garden house and I so much want one, too. I have a very small garden and
I will try to persuade my husband to make a tiny 'house' for me.
I wish your wrist gets better soon. I have also some problems with my wrist and fingers and I know it is so hard to wish to write and not to be able to.
Tina
What a lovely find, this blog of yours! I saw you on Poppy's site and popped in for a visit - I will be back again!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Carol, I am so sorry to hear about your hand. Did you injure it or did the pain just come on naturally? While looking through your photos, I came to the conclusion that "now I have seen everything" . . . a piano on the beach! You Californians know how to use your beaches and how to enjoy life :) I am so pleased that you like that little banner . . . it looks cute in your garden house. I hope that your doctor finds the problem and that it can be cured with very little treatment. You are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteConnie :)
I'm sorry to read about your hand giving you trouble, Carol. I hope it's just a temporary problem; it's a pity you have to week several weeks for the specialist to see it.
ReplyDeleteThe garden house, on a cheerier note, is adorable!
Karen
Hi Carol!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that you are in pain. I hope you are feeling better soon. I love your photos! They blessed me with dreaming about warm weather while I am here in NJ with lots of snow and more coming.
With gratitude,
Terry
I love all the pictures.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are having so much pain. I have had pain in my hands for so many years. I've had carpal tunnel surgery on both which helped some. I hope the hand specialist can help you. Take care.
Your photos are magnificent! Sorry to hear about your hand. I will be in your neck of the woods in a couple weeks and will be thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your hand, it sounds awful, I hope the hand specialist can do something about it.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are wonderful, full of eye candy and I love the shelves painted in your favourite colours.
I meant the shelves in your garden house.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your hand(s).....they're so taken for granted until we don't have use of them! And you're so creative so to not have the use of your hands is a loss for all of us. I loved the pictures and your garden shed...what can I say? Too darn cute!!!
ReplyDeleteIf your hands don't get better maybe I could be your hands as I have those but not your creativity. You could send me the supplies, tell what to do and I could send it back to you! LOL! No garden sheds though. Take care sweetie.
I hope they can figure out what is wrong!
ReplyDeleteHope you will feel better soon! Love the photos!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes with your hand. How frustrating! And that sort of pain just drains one. Love the pictures - a perfect little escape from the ice storm we have having today.
ReplyDeleteOh Carol, I am so sorry to hear about your wrist. I pray the doctor finds out what is going on and that he will help you get better soon. Lovely pictures and your garden house turned out great. Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving the comments...Sending you a great big hug.
ReplyDelete❤️Ana
Your pictures say it all, Carol. I love where you live! I can only dream of walks along the beach this time of year. Your garden shed is adorable. Sorry about your wrist! Hopefully they will be able to get it fixed up. I sprain my right wrist about once or twice a year {I'm right handed} and most of my life it has been this way. Not sure what is wrong but I wrap it and try to use it as less as possible until it heals again. The physio therapist can't feel anything wrong in there. He checked it out when I was getting my back worked on. So when it sprains again, I will pay him a visit. Take it easy, although I know that's not easy either. Happy Valentines week!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
your little garden shed looks adorable....so you I am so sorry about your wrist but you need to take care of it.
