30 Days of Pinterest

Usually, the day after school is out, I begin working on my summer project list.

This year is different because I am not on summer vacation.

I am on vacation for life, so to speak.

So, now is the time to do all those things I said I would do when I had the time.

After reading the post A Simple Pinterest Project by Judy at 20 North Ora.

I went to my Pinterest boards and chose 30 projects.

There are things to make, things to buy, bits and pieces to gather and vignettes to mimic.

The goal - complete the 30 projects in 30 days -

June 8 to July 8.

Polka dot container

Film reels

Eyelet napkins

  Colorful quilt

 Green Bench

  Metal chair

  Stenciled bucket

The shop teacher cut out the wooden sign for me to paint and the linen table cloth to stencil arrived yesterday.

The countdown begins.

Wish me luck!

There is SO MUCH FUN to be had here, Carol! I know that even if you don't make it to all 30, the few that you may achieve will be enjoyable; I LOVE ALL OF THESE IDEAS! Anita

Wow, you have a big goal ahead of you. Can't wait to see the 30 projects. You certainly are ambitious now that you have retired. Good for you!!

For heaven's sake! For anybody else this might seem manic. But I've already been amazed at what you get done while working full time. CONGRATULATIONS on retirement! With all you got going it's going to take a long time before you feel it. Don't be surprised if you get a book deal out of this! Good luck dearie! I'm pulling for you. (You asked about where I keep the linens... Linen's were a specialty in my old shop, so I have a lot that is just stored, but since I love and use them so much I have drawers and closets full. Most notably one very large walk in closet.)

Those look like fun projects and and good challenge! I bought some galvanized buckets with numbers on them at Big Lots of all places! I hadn't been in there in a long time and was really amazed at what they had. They even had some knock of Coke crates!

You are so ambitious and creative...I'm lucky if I'd get one of those projects done in a month! Happy retirement, by the way. :-)

Congratulations, Carol!! You will love retirement! I was not nearly as ambitious as you are - I thought that my house would be a lot cleaner when I retired! I can't wait to see the projects as you finish them. I love those sweet hearts - I have the perfect bowl to put some in...I think I will do that project as well.

Congratulations. I know you will love retirement. You will miss your "kids" and co-workers.
I love the idea of the project. I think I need something like that. I've pinned so many great things on my Pinterest boards.

Girl you are going to be busy!! If I even finished two in 30 days I'd be happy. :) I'm going to study the ones you've chose. They look good.
