Panoply

Recently my friend Rita of the blog Panoply sent me a panoply of vintage goodies.

Rita could not have chosen better.

I absolutely love vintage linens and primary colors.

The time is coming for al fresco dining and I'll be using these beautiful tablecloths frequently.

I'm not one for putting things in the cupboard to save for a special day - every day is a special day.

The cute tea towels with the beach themed embroidery are perfect for our house.

I'm in love with this beautiful ironstone vase - all of the flowers were picked in my garden.

And then there were the faucet knobs - they are so cute and fun to tuck into vignettes.

The cute red/yellow and yellow/black flatware inspired a fun new display in the kitchen.

By far my favorite is this sweet little piece - the minute I saw just those few letters, I knew exactly what it was.

The blue matches perfectly with the new cabinet in our guest room so I'm going to sew the hankie onto a pillow.

I'm amazed at Rita's talent to have chosen items that fit right in at our house.

Thank you Rita.

  2. I was just looking at a cabinet in my home yesterday, where I house all the gifts and tags and special things that blogger friends have sent me over the years. It's amazing to me how these friends always got it "right" when they sent me a little something, that perfect little gift that goes either with my décor or my passion for vintage.

These colors go perfectly with your sea cottage my friend, absolutely uplifting!

  8. Carol, thank YOU! Those things look so wonderful in your cottage, and I just love that they're yours now. You just brightened my day tenfold with how you're already using these. It's hard to choose a favorite, but I am absolutely in love with your cottage flowers in the ironstone. I can't wait to see the pillow. I remember when we stayed in a cottage in Seaside, FL, the owner had similar pillows stitched with FL towels and hankies. Thank you for participating in my purge. I told you you were easy to choose for. I love your cottage. ;)

  27. I just love the soft blues in your cottage, and yet the primary colors stand out so perfectly! Your yard area with the "cobblestone" walkway and the tablecloth with yellow flowers makes me yearn for "summer' here in Oregon! Not a flower to be seen yet and yours are SO pretty! I'm so jealous!!!! Rita did send you the prefect pretties for your cottage... Marilyn

  30. Sweet post featuring Rita's gifts. I am amazed at her computer brain to remember things we had commented about on her blog and on ours that we liked. She matched us up perfectly and was extremely generous with her time packing the items and giving them away.
Your post featuring the items was lovely. She knew you well.

Dr joy is a trust worthy spell caster and he will be of great help to you. I never believed in spell casting but After 4 years of marriage my husband left me because I lost my womb, and i was unable to give birth to children. I felt like my life has come to an end, and i almost committed suicide, i was emotionally down for a very long time, but thanks to this spell caster called Dr joy whom i met online after my friend Becky Ross told me how he also helped her to bring back her husband in less than 2 days. I believed her and decided to give Dr joy a try and i contacted him on his email joylovespell@gmail.com. and explained my problems to him. He laughed and told me that In less than 2 days, my Husband will come back to me again, and that he will restore my womb and i will give birth to children. At first i thought it was a joke but i took courage and believed as Dr joy has said and it did happen just as this Great spell caster said, My husband called me and was crying, begging for forgiveness. I forgive him and today i am so glad that all worries and problems has gone away, and we are even happier than before, another good news is that i am pregnant now, and very soon we will have our baby.
