I interrupt the Patriotic Porches Tour
to announce the winner of the Country Sampler magazine giveaway.
I appreciate all the sweet and loving comments on the post - they mean a lot.
Everyone was assigned a number and I used RANDOM.ORG to give me an integer
and the winner is Marilyn of Pink Paper Cottage.
I'm sorry that I couldn't share a copy with everyone,
but I do have another giveaway coming up
after the 4th of July.
Congrats to your home being featured in the magazine and to the winner.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteI laugh about how much has changed since the photo shoot and we just had a contractor in today to talk about more changes.
Congrats to the winner! I still haven't seen a copy of that magazine where your home was featured. I will have to look at B&N one more time next time I go. Love your patriotic porch. I don't have any patriotic decorations and I'm afraid the colors wouldn't "go" with my yellow door and yellow table on the front porch anyway! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love red, yellow and blue together.
DeleteI just had someone on Instagram ask me how she could do patriotic with a pink house. I gave her a few ideas and she is going to try them.
Congratulations! I am still on the hunt for the magazine. I'm in the city now, if there's a copy anywhere, it's here! ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't see the magazine in my grocery store. They sent me six copies so I was able to at least share them with family.
DeleteCongratulations to Marilyn! I know that she will be thrilled and enjoy the magazine.
ReplyDeleteYour Pepsi crate filled with your summer dinnerware and flags is adorable. You certainly know how to put things together and bring out their charm . . . I do believe that there is nothing you couldn't touch and make pretty :)
Happy 4Th of July!!!
Connie :)
Oh, Connie you are good for me. I was laid up all day after a doctor visit - horrendous infection after our son's dog scratched my legs one too many times. Reading your comments made me smile.
DeleteCongratulations to the winner!
ReplyDeleteI hope she replies. I contacted her yesterday, but haven't heard yet.
DeleteCongrats to the winners. Marilyn is soooooo sweet Carol and so deserving of this special treat. Glad she was picked. Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
I am just getting to Marilyn - what a sweetie!
DeleteCongratulations to Marilyn. Have a Happy 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteHello Carol, and congratulations to Marilyn! Can you believe July 4th is approaching? I don't even feel as if my vacation has started yet! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteAs a teacher I actually hated when we hit July because then it seemed it was already countdown time to vacation ending.
DeleteWow it has been forever since I visited my blog friends...LOL I need to get back into reading and posting more now. Took a break and I am hoping to be able to do more with my blog now. Congrats to Marilyn for winning the giveaway! Woot Woot! Well I can not believe that this Sunday is July 1st already! WOW LOL Everything looks so pretty hun, have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Debra
I can't believe July is almost here!
DeleteCongrats to the winners and to you for being featured. As I said before, well deserved.
ReplyDeleteCindy

ReplyDeleteTesting!!
ReplyDeleteI received your comment on my blog! I must have missed this post.... THANK YOU so much. I emailed you with my street address. What a nice birthday gift, as TODAY is my birthday!!! Thanks to Kris and Connie for the shout-out too.. I love them both dearly and hope I can meet each one of them some day. I only live one state away from Connie, but quite a distance from Kris! I'll look forward to receiving the magazine! Hugs.. Marilyn
ReplyDeleteTrès joli !
ReplyDeleteDearest Carol, good morning and happy July 1st! I just saw that you came to my blog post; I am happy to hear that you have landed safely in a place where you have turned perhaps a "compromise" into a promise to make the most out of your dreams. From what I can see at this "distance" you are enjoying every moment and every opportunity to grace your community, both at home and on-line, with an energy that is boundless. Thank you for reading my post, and yes, I am going to revel in July, milk August for what its worth, and go back to school recalibrated.
ReplyDeleteRabbit, Rabbit! Hello, Carol and happy July! I love seeing your patriotic touches. Lots of red, white, and blue out here as well. Have a festive 4th!
ReplyDeleteLove the daisy pictures. So pretty. Congrats to your winner of the magazine copy.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winner of you giveaway! Cannot wait for you next one. Your flowers are absolutely beautiful by the way. Hope you have a nice rest of your week. Stay cool!

I don't feel fresh as a daisy in this heat, but looking at your lovely pix makes me feel a bit more cheery! Happy Fourth!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winner!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful fourth of July!
Your sweet comment truly made my day.
Laura
Carol, I got that magazine yesterday and I am going to read it at my leisure when I can sit out on the porch. I am excited to read about you and Steve...plus our friend Judy and her Captain. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteI am looking for the magazine at our store.
ReplyDeleteI bought wire for the heart wreath and it is too big...can't bend it very well...must find smaller gauge......... all I have smaller is florist wire which is too small. Who would think it so hard to find the proper size wire for a darling wreath...my little dried roses are waiting...:)
I actually just popped over from bj's blog, I have been reading your posts and I'm so glad to meet you! such beautiful photos and belated happy 4th of july!
