Beauty on the Beach

Get your flip flops on because we are going for a walk.

We're not going far, just one lane over to see if any of my friends are home.

It doesn't look like Tracy is home, but we can sit on that cute little bench

and admire her sweet little gate while we wait.

It doesn't look like Carrie is home

and Johanna isn't home either

I thought Angie might be working from home today, but the house is closed up.

I guess we should go out to the beach to sit while we wait for someone to get home.

But wait, we're in luck.

It looks like Leslie's door is open and we can pop in for a visit.

But first, let's check out her welcoming front porch.

And the lovely front garden - a rare commodity at the beach.

Metal sculptures are sprinkled throughout the garden

and the fence posts at each end of the circular drive sport doves.

A peek down the side of the house shows the grandchildren's playhouse.

And finally, we are through the front door where an amazing handmade rocker bench greets us, but this is the part where you get mad at me because we are stopping right here in the entry way for now.

I will leave you with some peeks out the windows.

And a look at one of the beautiful antiques that fill the houses.

For your patience today, you deserve something fun like the mini adirondacks - one for each of Leslie's triplet grandchildren.

But, it is a beautiful day on the beach and I have 682 photos to finish editing.

Come back later this week and we will start our tour on the first floor - don't worry, you can take the elevator up to the third floor if the walk is too much!

  32. Good Evening Carol, I love Tracy's door, the heart shaped cut out is right up my street.
Leslie's house is a dream and to live so close to the beach must be wonderful. The sky is blue and the beach looks so inviting.
Leslie has done well to grow so many lovely plants in her garden as growing flowers when you live near the sea can sometimes be a difficult task.
    Have a lovely weekend.
    Best Wishes
