and the winners are . . .


It is October 1st and time to announce the winners of my Passing On the Blog Love Giveaway.


I said I would draw 3 names, but there were 69 comments so I generated 5 names.


I doubt if anyone knows their number so let me introduce you to the winners.


#21 is Cynthia of Cynthia lee Designs who requested the word BLESSED.


#56 is Helen of Helen Philipps who asked for the word HOME.



#39 is Susan of As Long As You Have A Garden who likes the word THRIVE.


#14 is Jane of Blondie's Journals who also asked for the HOME.


# 48, Cathy of My 1929 Charmer, did not ask for a specific word, but she did say she has never received a blog gift so I am thrilled to be sending her a banner.


My creative space is once again organized so I was able to begin the little flags this morning, but I need colors and sizes from the winners before I finish up.


Thanks for all the sweet comments from everyone and keep your eyes out for another giveaway in the next few weeks.


I made this 10" wreath the other day and had so much fun playing with wire and writing words, that I will be making some Christmas ornaments to give away.


Meanwhile, enjoy the lovely month of October.

    i love those little blocks ... so cool!! i never had them as a kid. only cloth/homemade ones. they were special but i always enjoyed the ones like you did share. ( :

I know that you are a very generous person, but I think you should start selling your pretties, they really are that good! Steve can sell paintings, you can sell home décor items...a real life (beach) cottage industry! ;) I'd buy!

    Congratulations to the five ladies above . . . Carol your banners are so charming . . . but then you have that special touch. I don't know how I have been missing your posts, but then I've been running around here like a chicken with her head cut off. Trying to get jobs done before cold weather and the holidays:) This week i've been working in the kitchen, it all started last week with my polka dot boarder and Aunt Olga's apron, then I painted the lower kitchen cupboards a darker turquoise and made a curtain for the back door. My mixer blew up while kneading bread (20 years old . . . it had a good life) and then last night our microwave quit heating up. So, I'm off to purchase a new microwave and I'll just use my hand mixer for a while. We ordered new windows for the house and they will be here in 3 or 4 weeks . . . hopefully we will get them all in before frost:)
    Enough about me . . . now I'm going to catch up on the posts that i've missed.

    CAROL! HELLO! These women are lucky winners indeed, for everything you make (i have my little book here with me) is so beautiful and made with such love. It is finally fall for us and it's cool, colorful, and they are even talking snow on the weather forecast, but that's for up north of us. STILL! AH! Not yet.

    I was SO surprised to see I had won! I think I said it in my comment (maybe not)...homemade gifts are the best!! And these are so, so cute, as is the heart wreath! They will make perfect ornaments.

    Carol...I was so excited when I saw that I was a winner of one of your awesome banners. We had been without our internet and cable for the last couple of days. We had some dead trees cut down and they cut thru the line in two, while taking down a tree in the backyard. Just got it back later today...so I have a lot to catch up on in blogland.
