My Favorite Color


I was reading Patty's post over at Patty's Pretty Things and she talked about a new swap she had joined at Chaotic Goddess Swaps.


Favorite Color Swap Rules
  • Packages must contain at least 5 items in your partner's favorite color.
  • Packages must cost a minimum of $15 and maximum of $25 BEFORE shipping.
  • Send a package that you, yourself, would like to receive- it should be personalized to fit your partner's preferences and style.
  • You must respond to emails from the swap hosts within a timely fashion.
  • You MUST post and link up your swap reveal post after receiving your package. This is non-negotiable.

It sounded like so much fun, that I signed up, but what is my favorite ?


I love COLOR - lots of it!


I went through the house on a search for my favorite color.


I looked in the kitchen


and the dining room.


I looked in the living room


and even in the garden.


Before my hunt, I would have told you my favorite color is yellow,


but the evidence clearly indicates that my favorite color is


R E D.

    Yes! Crushin' on some red!!! I was laughing half-way thru your pics, red was jumping off the screen! Sounds like a fabulous swap, will have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

    Carol, Your favorite color is so bright and cheery and fits right in your home so nicely. Isn't it funny how we think we have one favorite color and we actually surround ourselves with another... I think blue is mine but, when I look around I have definitely surrounded myself with lots of white, lol... have a great day....Cathy

    Red is your color for sure. You do really well with it too. I think you crush on any primary color but definitely red prevails.

    I would have guessed your favorite color to be red because you have more of that color in your decor. Love all the red items you highlighted in the photos...:) ANd those lilies are gorgeous outside your blue windows. Sounds like a fun swap....enjoy!

    I am about to decorate my new home. I lay awake thinking over all the choices. As I unpack I will take careful note of what really makes me smile. I hope it will indicate the colours I should chose.

    That is so funny! I say I don't have a favorite color because I like them all depending on my mood at the moment but always used to tell people my LEAST favorite color was green. Then I walked around my house one day and realized that is the color I use the most in every single room!

    Don't forget your fabulous red alphabet tablecloth! Whenever I think of you, I always automatically think of the tablecloth, also. Any clear bright color could be your favorite color. No pastels for you; no jewel tones for you; no faded, muted tones for you! Bright cheerful clear colors. They remind me of your bright cheery blog posts!

    Significant that I even remember my favorite color was red back when I was a really small child and then my favorite color changed shortly thereafter and now..............I like red more and more as I get older.

    Yep, mine too....and to be more specific, I love Perylene Red!

    I did this swap last year, and it was so much fun! I can't wait to see what you put together for your Swap Partner....I'm sure it'll be so creative and fun. The Chaotic Goddess Swaps are the best!

    I could have told you red was your favorite color. Red is my favorite color as well. Except for black and white. Black and white is favorite color 1a. and red is favorite color 1b. I love the idea of this swap. Sounds really fun.

    It definitely sounds right up your street Carol. I'm not sure I would have picked red for you, over yellow and blue, but I guess the lovely photos say it all.
