Mad Tea Party

An invitation - to all the "Ladies of the Lane"-  appeared in mail boxes early one morning

asking them to meet in the garden.

For weeks, little fingers

were busy creating.

And finally,

the day arrived when

the garden was magically transformed

into a welcoming spot

for the all the "Ladies of the Lane"

to relax and chat and catch up with neighbors.

When the ladies arrived they would be thirsty -

oh dear, who snuck in a bottle of champagne to a garden party?

And now we know what the tags were for.

Everyone chose a word to designate their glass and

created their own tag if they didn't find a word to suit their personality.

Why do you suppose this person chose "Life" as their word?

With their thirst quenched, the ladies were hungry

for a little savory

and a little sweet - with mustaches because Christine requested them.

Happy Ladies . . .

gathered in the garden

to eat

and drink.

The question remains, why were the "Ladies of the Lane" asked to meet in the garden?

And the answer is, 'Just Because'.

And before everyone left, they were sure to take home a treat box.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Don't forget to visit A Fanciful Twist to see all the other Mad Tea Parties.
