Where does the time go?

I have been catching up with everyday life after a long weekend away.

Our garden room has been crying out for love lately so I spent all day Monday and Wednesday outdoors.

The garden is now a welcoming spot for relaxing

and eating lunch.

A few flowers were cut for the living room

and the dining room.

The last of my daisies were made into a bouquet for my next door neighbor.

In search of teacups and teapots for an Alice in Wonderland baby shower my daughter is hosting, I came across these polka dot plates and could not pass them up.

Windows thrown open on a gorgeous spring evening, Easter flowers and the polka dot plates made a simple dinner of salad and scallops a little bit festive.

And that is all I have to show for the entire week.

Where does the time go?

  8. Where does the time go, indeed! The grass is greening up around here, but the occasional warmish day is followed by many cool ones and things are slow in the garden. Your outdoor room looks like a beautiful place to linger and enjoy the flowers and artistic touches, Carol!

  35. You should be glad that you live really far from me. Otherwise your polka dot plates might be in danger. So cute! I'm crushing on your surf boards in the garden. Do you think it would be strange for me to have surf boards in my garden in Michigan????
